The impact that smoke smoking has on our health is well known. There have been thousands of articles and advertisements introducing the different hazards that smoke smoking causes but still people choose to smoke.
Apart from the risk of cancer, smoke smoking is also accountable for premature aging, yellow teeth and finger nails, issues with gums, bad breath, sleeplessness, lack of strength, and the obvious understanding to the breathing.
Is that enough issues for you to handle?
Not enough? Okay here we go; smoke smoking is also accountable for...
You get the point - an endless list!!!
I am writing this article, not to outline the repercussions of smoke smoking, but what happens when you quit smoke smoking.
When you are at least thinking of taking that all important choice to quit this dirty habit called smoke smoking, you need to create yourself a record. Take note of yourself a record of WHY you should quit smoke smoking and why you have decided to quit smoke smoking.
While you create down your record of your "Why's", I will give you another 2 lists for you to think about. Here's the first one:
• Straight after the choice to quit smoke smoking, only just 20 minutes after your last smoke, your pulse rate falls and your hypertension level reduces.
• After the first 8 time of your last smoke, the stages of smoking and co in your body system are reduced by at least half, and oxygen stages return to normal.
• At 24 time the co is totally released from the body system.
• 48 time and there is no more smoking in your body system.
Stop and think about the above for a second. After only 2 times you have treated your body system from all of the above - only 2 days!!!!
Unfortunately there is not a "visual" measure or counter if you like, of the smoking and co in your body system for you to see as time goes by. This is why I recommend that after your "why quit smoke smoking list", you create the above record down in your note book to remind you, and for you to visualize what you have just achieved after only 2 times.
Of course there will be side affects for several times, but hey, trust me, it's worth it!
Some of the signs you might encounter are depression, anxiety, wooziness, headaches, and excess weight.
What I recommend you do, as soon as you begin to encounter one of the above signs is that you go back to your record of "whys" and your record of what has been removed from your body system in the first 48 time.
I did exactly the same thing and then when three times had passed, and I thought I was craving a smoke, I kept in mind the difficulties I went through the past three daily and I used to say to myself "if I begin smoke smoking now, then those three times would have gone to waste".
